Fall Tour Recap: Raleigh, Jacksonville & Nashville

The 2026 Tap Cancer Out Fall Tour is officially underway, and our first three stops have already made an incredible impact in the fight against cancer.

Throughout September, the #TCOArmy took over the mats in Raleigh, NC; Jacksonville, FL; and Nashville, TN, collectively raising more than $275,000 for our cancer-fighting beneficiaries.

From a record-setting weekend in Raleigh to standout individual and team fundraisers across all three cities, it was an incredible way to start the fall season.

Raleigh Raises More Than $177,000

We kicked things off in Raleigh, where the BJJ community showed up in a BIG way, raising more than $177,000 for our beneficiaries!

Leading the charge was Lane Hendrickson of Pendergrass Academy of Martial Arts, who earned both Top Youth Fundraiser and Top Overall Fundraiser honors after raising an incredible $10,300.

Our Top Overall Fundraising Team, Embrace Martial Arts, raised an amazing $15,530 while bringing 54 competitors to the mats in Raleigh. Their latest effort brings the academy’s lifetime fundraising total with Tap Cancer Out to more than $65,000.

Jacksonville Adds More Than $57,000 to the Fight

Next up, the TCO team headed south to Jacksonville, FL, where the local BJJ community came together to raise more than $57,000.

David Black of 417 BJJ led the way as our Top Overall Fundraiser, raising $2,340, while Michael Arnold of Mana Jiu Jitsu earned Top Youth Fundraiser honors with $2,050 raised.

Our Top Overall Fundraising Team was Protactx BJJ, whose fundraisers combined to raise $7,785. Their Jacksonville performance pushed the team’s lifetime fundraising total with Tap Cancer Out past $12,000!

Nashville Keeps the Momentum Going

We closed out September in Nashville, TN, where the community added another $41,000+ to the fight against cancer.

Meridian Jones of Gracie Barra TN took home both Top Youth Fundraiser and Top Overall Fundraiser honors after raising $2,325.

And Gracie Barra TN had plenty more to celebrate. The academy raised $10,530 as our Top Overall Fundraising Team, bringing its lifetime Tap Cancer Out fundraising total to an incredible $30,000.

Even more impressive? This marked their third consecutive year as Nashville’s Top Overall Fundraising Team. Three years in a row is an incredible display of commitment from the entire Gracie Barra TN community.

The Fall Tour Is Just Getting Started

Three cities. More than $275,000 raised. And we’re only getting started.

Every dollar raised in Raleigh, Jacksonville, and Nashville helps Tap Cancer Out continue supporting organizations making a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer. None of it happens without the competitors who fundraise, the academies that rally behind them, the families and friends who donate, and the volunteers and supporters who make each tournament possible.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our first three stops of the 2026 Fall Tour such a success.

Next stop: AUSTIN! The Fall Tour rolls on, and we can’t wait to see how much more impact the #TCOArmy can make before the year is over.
