TCO Spring Tour Raises $766,285

On June 28th, Tap Cancer Out made an inspiring return to our former home state of Connecticut, and it’s safe to say—the BJJ community showed up big time.

As the final stop of our Spring Tour, this event was more than just a tournament—it was a homecoming. And what a way to finish strong: together, our incredible athletes and supporters raised $152,000+ in the fight against cancer!

A Pair of Powerhouses: The $10K Club Grows

We’re proud to once again celebrate two incredible fundraisers from our $10K Club, both of whom continue to go above and beyond—not only on the mats, but off of them as well:

  • Joseph Jacovino of Technique BJJ took the title of Top Overall Fundraiser, raising a staggering $15,595.

  • Anthony Muoio of Black Wolf Martial Arts was right behind him, earning the title of Top Youth Fundraiser with $14,630 raised.

These young men continue to inspire everyone around them with their drive, compassion, and commitment to making a real difference. We couldn’t be more proud!

Team Champions: Black Wolf Does It Again

For the second time, Black Wolf Martial Arts took home the Top Fundraising Team honors, raising an impressive $27,257. Their culture of generosity, dedication, and community is truly something special, and we’re honored to have them as part of the TCO family.

Spring Tour Impact & Looking Ahead

Thanks to all of YOU, our 2025 Spring Tour closed out with an incredible $766,285 raised across all events. This impact is only possible because of the heart and hustle of every single participant, coach, donor, and volunteer.

But we’re not done yet. In fact, we’re just getting started.

We launch our Fall Tour on September 6th in Raleigh, and registration for all Fall events is OPEN. We’re also gearing up for our most meaningful day of the year—Global Grappling Day on December 13th—so whether you’re competing or simply want to support, there are still countless ways to get involved.

Let’s keep pushing forward—on the mats, in our communities, and in the fight against cancer.

See you this fall!
