MEET THE BAUTISTA FAMILY

Ashton, Grayson, and Adrian Bautista train at Cornerstone Jiu Jitsu Academy in Leander, Texas. They are fundraising for the 2024 Austin BJJ Open on October 5, 2024.

THEY FIGHT FOR THEIR MOTHER/ABUELA

Adrian’s mother, the boy’s grandmother, passed away from Leukemia in the summer of 2023. The family was devastated and felt powerless over the loss of their beloved abuela.

Before losing his mother, Adrian competed in the TCO Austin 2021 tournament. After her passing in 2023, the entire Bautista family decided to join the TCO Austin event as fundraisers. They raised $500 and also earned 2nd and 3rd in their divisions. This year, they plan to continue their fundraising efforts and continue their abuela’s legacy of love and compassion.
