At Tap Cancer Out, we’ve always believed that Jiu-Jitsu is more than a sport—it’s a platform for purpose. And now, we’re proud to take that belief a step further with the official launch of our Ambassador School Program, unveiled during our Charlotte event on May 17th.
This program isn’t just another badge or banner. It’s a recognition of leadership, commitment, and community spirit in the fight against cancer.
What is an Ambassador School?
Ambassador Schools are more than just places to train—they’re the pillars of our mission, driving impact both on and off the mats. These schools have stepped up as leaders in their regions, inspiring others to roll for a reason and embodying what it truly means to be part of the Tap Cancer Out family.
Being an Ambassador School means your academy isn’t just participating—you’re setting the standard.

How Do You Become an Ambassador School?
To earn Ambassador School status, academies must meet these key benchmarks:
- Raise a minimum of $5,000 in fundraising
- Recruit at least 5 volunteers for your local event
- Have 10 transacting fundraisers on your team (fundraisers who receive at least one donation)
This program rewards not only financial contribution but also engagement, leadership, and community building.
What Do Ambassador Schools Receive?
We believe in recognizing those who go above and beyond. That’s why Ambassador Schools receive exclusive perks at our events, including:
- Private tented space for your team
- Complimentary water and snacks
- Access to yoga mats and foam rollers for recovery and relaxation
- Special recognition across the Tap Cancer Out community
It’s our way of saying thank you for being a vital part of our mission—and for setting the example others will follow.
Want Your School to Become an Ambassador School?
If your academy has what it takes (or wants to get there), we encourage you to talk to your coach and start planning now. Whether it’s organizing more fundraising efforts or recruiting volunteers, every effort counts.
For more information or to express your interest, reach out to our Academy Relationship Manager, Sarah, at Sarah@tapcancerout.org. She’ll guide you through the process and help your team take the next step toward becoming an Ambassador School.
This is just the beginning. The Ambassador School Program is a new chapter in our story—and we can’t wait to see which schools will rise to the occasion.
Together, we can Tap Cancer Out!
