2026 Spring Tour Comes to a Close After Raising More Than $1,000,000 for the Fight Against Cancer
What an incredible spring.
After eight tournaments across the country, the 2026 Tap Cancer Out Spring Tour has officially come to a close. Together, the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community raised an astounding $1,012,614 to support our cancer-fighting beneficiary partners.
The final three stops in Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, and Columbus showcased everything that makes this community so special—families fundraising together, youth competitors making a difference, academies rallying behind a shared cause, and countless individuals stepping onto the mats to help those impacted by cancer.
Dallas-Fort Worth, TX – $65,900 Raised
The Spring Tour’s seventh stop brought the Tap Cancer Out team to Dallas-Fort Worth, where the local BJJ community raised $65,900 for our beneficiaries.
Leading the way was The Turner Family (Ray, Erin & Xander) from Empower Martial Arts, who raised an incredible $8,300 to earn the Overall Top Fundraiser trophy.
Peter Rivera from Northern Tribe BJJ earned Top Youth Fundraiser honors after raising $1,285.
On the team side, Empower Martial Arts also claimed the Top Overall Team Fundraiser award with $8,300 raised.
Denver, CO – $252,400 Raised
Denver once again proved to be one of the biggest fundraising events of the year, with the Colorado BJJ community raising an incredible $252,400.
The Lujan Family (Makani & Raven) from True Martial Arts led the weekend by raising $11,140, bringing their lifetime fundraising total to more than $25,000. Their efforts earned them the Overall Top Fundraiser trophy and secured their spot at TCOasis 2027 for the second consecutive year.
Devin Barenberg from High Altitude Martial Arts raised $6,814 to earn the Top Youth Fundraiser award.
The Top Overall Team Fundraiser trophy went to Monument BJJ Academy, whose community raised an outstanding $47,018. That effort also pushed the academy past $210,000 in lifetime fundraising, an incredible milestone.
Columbus, OH – $42,800 Raised
The Spring Tour concluded in Columbus, where the BJJ community came together to raise $42,800.
The Schoonover 4 from One Academy led the fundraising efforts with $10,134, earning the Overall Top Fundraiser trophy and punching their ticket to TCOasis 2027.
Drew Brown, also from One Academy, was recognized as Top Youth Fundraiser after raising $1,194.
One Academy rounded out an incredible weekend by earning the Top Overall Team Fundraiser trophy with $12,863 raised, bringing the academy’s lifetime fundraising total to more than $19,000.

From Atlanta to Columbus, this Spring Tour demonstrated the incredible generosity of the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu community. Across all eight events, competitors, coaches, families, volunteers, and supporters came together to raise more than $1 million to help people affected by cancer.
To everyone who competed, fundraised, donated, volunteered, or cheered from the sidelines—thank you. Every dollar raised helps fund critical cancer-fighting programs and supports families when they need it most.
